Dr Ann Campos completed her MD in Anaesthesia from JJ Hospital, Mumbai. She then advanced her career at Tata Memorial Hospital and KEM Hospital in Mumbai, where she rose to the level of Associate Professor. Subsequently, she moved to Bangalore and briefly worked at St. John’s Medical College before settling in Hyderabad.
For over 15 years, Dr Campos has been an integral part of the critical care team at KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad, specializing in Neurosurgical and Surgical Critical Care. She is committed to ethical patient management, ensuring transparency about the benefits and limitations of various treatment options, and guiding families to make informed decisions for their loved ones in intensive care.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr Campos has mentored numerous students in thesis work and research projects. She has also led hospital infection control efforts and contributed to committees focused on patient safety.
