Obstetric Doppler

This course is designed for practitioners experienced in obstetric ultrasound scanning who wish to incorporate Doppler techniques into their practice. It is ideal for those new to using Doppler in obstetrics as well as for those already using it but seeking to deepen their understanding of its applications. Doppler assessments are crucial for detecting issues in placental circulation and managing complications such as pre-eclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction, and perinatal death. They also provide valuable insights into the pathophysiology of various pathological pregnancies, enhancing clinical management. This hands-on course requires participants to have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in ultrasonography.

• Theory Course: Lectures
• Observation: Technique of acquiring and optimizing Doppler flow studies of various fetal and maternal blood vessels
