K2ms (Online CTG Course) (both for FH and outside Doctors/midwives)

K2MS is an interactive computer-based training system which covers CTG interpretation and labor management and also the acid-base balance of the neonate along with cord blood sampling. It is an expensive module and the Institute bears the cost of the license for the benefit of all doctors in Obs/Gyn.

Exciting new content has now been introduced to the Perinatal Training Programme covering wide-ranging aspects of obstetric emergencies and management. This module has chapters covering Shoulder Dystocia, Breech, Maternal Haemorrhage, Maternal Collapse and Pre-Eclampsia and this new addition to the Perinatal Training Programme is a vital new extension to the existing fetal monitoring content. Fernandez Hospital is procuring this module for the first time.

The cost to do both the modules will be Rs 6000 for doctors/Rs. 3000 for midwives.

Enrollment Process: For ensuring quality care to our patients, doctors get certified for both the modules.  This is in your own interest as well as the patients’ interest.  This certification counts towards the patient care

After enrollment, you will be allotted a user id and password, which you can logon and change the password and do the course online. After the completion of the course, you will receive two certificates (Acid-Base Balance + fetal physiology and Intrapartum cardiotocography). The soft copies of the two certificates are to be sent to Academics to maintain a record. The duration of the course is 3 months.
