Guidelines for
Authors
The Scientific committee welcomes the submission for abstract for free communication- oral papers and posters. Out of all the submissions after review by the committee, 6 abstracts will be selected for oral presentation and the rest will be accepted as poster presentation.
The announcement for the selections will be displayed on the website by 10th October 2025. The same will also be conveyed to the authors via email.
The best oral presentation and the best poster will receive an award at the end of the conference. There will be a separate award category for students/ trainees and consultants.
Rules for Abstract Submission
Registration for the conference is mandatory for submission of abstract.
- To be submitted via email to abstracts@fherf.org
- The submission should include: Title of research, Author names, Presenting author details and corresponding email/phone number, Structured abstract.
- Structured abstract – Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion
- Total 250 words
- Times New Roman font, size 12.
- The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
- The presenting author must be listed as the first author.
- Submitted abstracts should include non-published data.
- Please note the submitting author will receive all correspondence about the abstract so we advise that the submitting author details that are entered are the same details as those of the presenting author.
- Only one abstract per presenter will be accepted.
- CONFLICT OF INTEREST & ETHICAL APPROVAL: Abstract submitter must attach approval letter from HOD / Superintendent declaring that it was not submitted previously in any conference and there is no conflict of interests in the presentation.
- PLAGIARISM: Copying work or ideas from someone else and presenting them as one’s own is plagiarism and is regarded by the conference organisers as serious professional misconduct. We trust our attendees and recommend that if a presentation builds on the work of another, the presenters ensure that they reference the intellectual property of others.
E-Poster Guidelines
- E- Posters will be displayed on the screens in the Exhibition Hall for the duration of the conference.
- Each E-poster presentation will be numbered and displayed on the screen accordingly.
- Upon arrival at the conference, please notify the conference staff that you have a poster presentation and you will be informed of the location for your poster presentation.
- It is expected that the presenter should be available at the poster for a designated hour to discuss it with congress participants.
- Poster specifications: The posters will be E-posters. The template will be shared with the presenters via email. Please include a reasonable amount of text and use visual means to convey the message. Text should include: Background, methods, findings, and conclusions. Includes names of authors, affiliations and contact information.
ORAL PAPER GUIDELINES
- The 6 oral papers will be distributed through day 1 of the conference. The speakers will be notified of the day and time prior to the conference.
- The time allotted for each presentation is 15 minutes. Of this, 12 minutes is for the speaker and 3 minutes for questions and answers.
- Presenters are encouraged to use PowerPoint as their presentation media or similar templates.
- The conference will be equipped with a computer and projector in each presentation room. Normal audio equipment such as microphones will be provided.
- Please send your PowerPoint slides no later than 31st October 2025 to abstracts@fherf.org
Good Practices
- We recommend maximum 1 slide per minute of speaking time. This means approximately 10-12 slides maximum for your 12 minutes’ oral presentation
- Make sure the letters on your slides are large enough.
- There is no official conference template for PowerPoint; feel free to use the template you prefer, e.g. a template from your own organisation.
- Please arrive well in advance of your presentation
